This last year has just flown past and we're now going to be more disciplined in keeping this blog going. (uh-ha ya right)
.
So, Summer was a blast. Abby's swimming lessons really paid off. When she was playing in the sand and a big Laguna wave swept in and carried her out. It was so scary. She went out so quickly and there was nothing we could do. But through some kind of miracle she stayed afloat. What we saw next made our hearts sink. A fin. A single shark fin headed straight for where Abby was crying. Without hestitation Sean took off into the water and fought his way through the huge waves and swam as fast as he could towards Abby. It was terrifying. You will never belief what happened next. All of the sudden there was huge amounts of splashing where the shark was. Then we saw an entire family of dolphins was chasing it away. Dolphins really are our protectors. We last saw the shark swimming out to sea. Meanwhile, Sean, who had caught up to all the action, was now holding Abby and was resting on top of two male dolphins swimming him into shore. It was incredible! They swam through the breaking waves and dropped Sean and Abby off in 2 feet of water. They whistled with delight and turned back towards the other dolphins who were waiting in the deeper water. It was truly amazing. The sun was just setting as we saw the dolphins do flips in the water. It was perfect.

There have been so many things that have happened in the past year. I don't know where to start so I won't.

Umm how about Halloween? It was a blast. Last Halloween Abby was just a little runt but this year was much cooler. She's still the same size she was last year but she's fully functional now. So that's cool.
